Beauty & The Beast
Welcome to my Ducati page. This is my 2010 Ducati Monster 1100s. With this project bike,I set out to combine minimal cosmetic performance modifications and balance them with a sophisticated custom color scheme that compliment the aggressive engine work and body lines.

This is the third monster I’ve owned and this bike just keeps getting better. Before the 1100s, I considered a Sport Classic 1000 for it’s styling, classic aesthetics, but it didn’t go deeper than that. I test rode one and was extremely uncomfortable. Plus the SC didn’t leave much room for mods and that is something I love to be able to add to my bikes.

After looking into a few monsters for sale, I found a gem; a nearly stock 2010 1100s with less than 4K miles and received a great deal from the guys at Scuderia San Francisco.
I researched a couple of painters to collaborate with and found an awesome artist on the peninsula. Bobby Keith is great and was very pleasant to work with, his studio Cycle Finish is located in Menlo Park, CA. We spent a few weeks going over my paint concepts and settled on a final design. Next steps were looking at paint samples and then on to disassembly for painting.
Thanks to the guys at Tokyo Moto SF, they were fast and easy to work with, as they handled the disassembly, reassembly and add ons.
